Hi there! I’m Mrs. Black, your librarian at NMS. This will be my 19th year in education, and my 7th year as school librarian.

A Miami native, I’ve got a bachelor’s degree in English Education from Florida State University and a master’s degree in Library Science from Texas Woman's University. 

My motto? Libraries are for everyone! I love building a collection that reflects the amazing diversity of our student body. And don’t forget to say hello to Bowser, our bearded dragon - she's always ready for a visit!
