Learn how to access your child's STAAR scores

The Texas Education Agency has indicated that the STAAR student results are tentatively scheduled to be available on Friday, July 1, 2022.

Because district offices will be closed on Friday (Summer Hours) and Monday (July 4th Holiday), we wanted to share this information with you prior to the tentatively scheduled release date.

If there are any new developments regarding the release of 3-8 scores, we will update you next week when we return from the 4th of July holiday weekend.

Please use the screenshot and steps below to help you access your child’s scores:

Parents in Sheldon do not require any access code.  Here are the basic steps:

  1. Go to www.sheldonisd.com
  2. Click the Skyward icon in the top right corner of the homepage
  3. Log in to your Skyward Family Access account.
  4. Choose the child whose scores you would like to view from the drop down at the top of your screen.
  5. Click the District Links icon in the top right corner of the screen.
  6. You will now be automatically logged in to your child’s STAAR Student Portal account.

*These scores are accessible through Skyward only if your child is in third grade or higher for the 2021-22 school year and if your child took the spring 2022 test in Sheldon ISD. If your child did not attend school in Sheldon ISD, click here to access their score using an access code that may have been provided to you by your previous school district. *Please note that district and campus offices are operating on summer hours and some staff may be on vacation at this time.

Results for the June 2022 STAAR EOC retests are not available yet. TEA has only released the spring administration results. June results will be added to the student portal by end of July or early August. You may now access your child’s STAAR scores through Skyward Family Access instead of logging in through the portal provided by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
